Simpson at 17 years old, started her singing career in choirs of the church. She signed with Columbia Records in 1997. Simpson's second studio album Irresistible, was a maturer release. The album's title track was Simpson's second-highest charting Billboard Hot 100 entry. It is the most successful celebrity license brand in history that has more than $1 billion of sales to date. Simpson also appeared in The Price of Beauty, a reality television show in the year 2010. She was also the judge for the clothes designs for Fashion Star 2 and 3. Simpson is married to Eric Johnson and has three children.
